MI Playing XI for all important match – In their last game against Delhi Capitals, Jayant Yadav was brought into the side in place of Rahul Chahar to counter the left-handers in the DC squads.

However, the trick did not work thus Rahul is likely to make comeback on the side. Another big concern for MI is the form of Ishan Kishan, he is out of the playing XI for the last three matches now. Will he make a comeback in the side? only time will tell.

MI Playing XI vs RR: Openers – Captain Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock will continue to open the batting for MI. Rohit has scored 341 runs in 11 matches with 1 fifty to his name. While on the other hand, de Kock has 297 runs under his belt. He has also scored 2 fifties in it.

Middle Order – Out of form middle order has been one of the biggest concerns for Mumbai Indians. Suryakumar Yadav, Kieron Pollard and Hardik Pandya will form the middle order for MI. SKY has shown a glimpse of form in the last game along with Hardik Pandya while Kieron Pollard is due to fire in the next game. No place for Ishan Kishan in the side. MI’s strong middle order has been one of the biggest strengths of MI but this year the tables have turned upside down. 

Spinners – Krunal Pandya and Rahul Chahar will form MI’s spin bowling attack. In the last game, MI tried Jayant Yadav for his off-spin but the plan did not work. Thus, Rahul is expected to make a comeback. Krunal Pandya has been bowling economical spells but he needs to find a way to take wickets.

MI Playing XI vs RR: Pacers – Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult will lead the pace attack for MI while Nathan Coulter-Nile will play the supporting as a third pacer. Bumrah is among the wickets in this season. He has 17 wickets under his belt and is 4th in the highest wicket-takers list this season. Boult also has 12 wickets in 12 games to his name.
